ARLC ReflectionZ: Soror Odom-Adams First ARLC Experience

Sorors from all across the Awesome Atlantic Region made their way to Baltimore, Maryland to attend the 58th Atlantic Regional Leadership Conference (ARLC). Soror Odom-Adams of the Alpha Zeta Chapter (the host chapter for the conference) reflects on her 2019 ArLC experience as a new member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated:

“The 58th ARLC was my first conference as a new initiate. Although I served on a host chapter planning committee (AZ), I had no true idea of the magnitude and depth of what my conference experience would be until I attended our Executive Board meeting.

From seeing waves of beautiful blue and white, walking throughout the venue speaking with Sorors that I do not know, the warm and welcoming greeting from our Regional Director and Grand gave me moments of utter joy! I met and connected with many Sorors to the point I that felt that I was blushing blue on my cheeks at the end of each day. By the way, spending my birthday (10/18) with Sorors was a delight.

The workshops were informative, the vendors were very customer friendly. I will end by saying that although I am not a prideful person, being a Zeta and being at the 2019ARLC made me feel like I was amongst a sisterhood that I know is unmatched. I can only imagine how our founding triumphant Sorors would burst with love and awe at the purpose-driven unity on display the entire weekend.”
